Have You Talked With Your Customer Lately? – Make a Call

Head down, managing a business answering e mails, responding to employee questions, managing a crisis.  We all get consumed by daily activities and sometimes we forget to thank our customers or truly ask how we are doing.  When was the last time you were called (not e mailed, not texted) from a senior leader of one of your suppliers – saying, “hi, I’m just checking in to thank you for your consistent business and make sure we are serving your needs.”  Maybe just ask them how their summer is going and if their business is challenged in any other way that you might be of assistance.  Carve out 15 minutes a day and make a couple calls.  See if you can help identify the next opportunity for your business.  Let me know how it goes.
